        Objective of Job * Method and algorithm development, integration and validation for behavior prediction component fulfill AD vehicle requirements in urban and high driving scenarios. * Develop evaluation methodology and toolchain for behavior prediction components in different levels and integrate to SiL/HiL and road tests for system validation. * Develop smart data selection toolchain to identify failure cases and build up test case database for behavior prediction. * Definition of China specific requirements for autonomous driving in behavior prediction. * Cooperation with relevant internal and external partners for automated driving and driver assistance systems. * Working with the onsite project team and counter-teams in Germany and the supplier requirements for autonomous driving systems. Task Description Behavior prediction algorithm development, integration and validation: -?? ?Develop and optimize algorithms to particularly fulfill China specific scenarios. -?? ?Integrate novel algorithms via SiL/HiL and running AD vehicle to conduct testing and validation. -?? ?Develop novel data collection, preprocessing and annotation methods & tools for data-driven development. -?? ?Keep up with latest trends and technologies to fulfill future R&D subjects and identify development needs. Develop behaviour prediction verification and validation methods: -?? ?Define China specific requirements for autonomous driving in behavior prediction. -?? ?Design systematical and scientifical methods for prediction module evaluation. -?? ?Develop smart data selection toolchain to identify failure cases and build up test case database for behavior prediction. -?? ?Contact with different component owners for failure analysis and optimization. Cooperate to build up China AD team: -?? ?Actively support to build-up and improve team processes. -?? ?Understand and support the development of the RD China strategy. Qualification Education -?? ?Master in computer science, robotics, automotive engineering or a related field. Experience -?? ?Development experience in autonomous driving, computer science, machine and deep learning or robotics preferred. -?? ?Familiar with start-of-the-art prediction algorithms in autonomous driving with development experience. -?? ?Familiar with data-driven development and CICD concept. -?? ?Hands on development experience with CUDA toolchain and AD platforms (ROS, Autoware, Apollo, etc.) preferred. -?? ?Strong practical knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented software development on Linux/QNX. Specific Knowledge -?? ?Chinese native speaker with fluent English language skills, German language beneficial. -?? ?Strong skill in C++ programming and scripting languages (Python among others) with large software system development experience. -?? ?Good knowledge and practical experience in model based (CV, CA, IMM, etc.) and deep learning based prediction algorithms (RNN, LSTM, GCN, imation learning, reinforcement learning, etc.), and their implementation in Autonomous Driving. -?? ?Good knowledge in filtering and tracking technology (Kalman, IMM, PDAF, MHT, etc.). -?? ?Experience in performance optimizations, writing efficient implementations, and software debugging. -?? ?Inter-cultural copmpetence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels. -?? ?Independent and proactive working style, willingness to travel inside China and abroad to conduct system testings.
